WSAT Simulator software comes with three versions
Standalone version: Runs on a single PC. Ideal for self-paced training on smaller unit operation simulation modules. Ideal for unit-operation models, and for practicing simulator in a self-paced mode.
Dual Monitor version:A PC with dual monitor card that is connected with two monitors. This provides two consoles, like a second operating console in DCS. This configuration is ideal for large-scale simulation models and for practicing simulator in a self-paced mode.
Instructor-Trainee version: Runs on one PC and one or more PC’s can be used as trainee or operating consoles. This configuration provides multiple operation stations, say 3 or 4. This configuration provides multiple operation stations, say 3 or 4.Here, an instructor can change battery limit conditions or trigger various failures or malfunctions, to train on Troubleshooting and What-if-Analysis.
This configuration is ideal for One-on-One instructor lead Interactive Training. It can be used for Testing or qualifying a trainee on a unit and for large-scale simulation models that needs multiple consoles for operating the plant
WSAT Tutor can run as a standalone or under the network environment. Under the network environment, WSAT tutor can reside on an Intranet server and any client PC can access to it.
Software Requirements: Microsoft's Windows 98 or NT4.0 with service pack 4 or higher or Windows 2000/XP.
Hardware Requirements: WSAT uses industry standard, high-end Pentium based PCs and hence it can be purchased and maintained easily by your IT Group.
